What is the most respected bag sealer machine on the market?

Fischbein is synonymous with a variety of packaging, handling and closing technologies, having produced one of the first portable electric sewing machines for commercial applications. For more than a century, Fischbein has sold, maintained, developed and improved upon a number of package closing technologies, making it one of the most well-known names in the industry.

In the early 1970s, Fischbein’s engineers built the first device used for closing pinch style paper containers that were pre-glued. Soon after developing this method, Fischbein acquired Mid America Packaging and, with it, a number of double roll closure gluing devices. In 1999, Fischebin again gained additional container closing technologies through another company, this time Saxon, a known name in poly container closing.

What bag sealer machine models does Fischbein offer?

Fischbein’s first model was used to close pinch style bags made from multi-walled paper. Fischbein still produces and sells a number of pinch style container closers. These devices use a creaser wheel to fold the top of the package, which has an adhesive pre-applied to it, and a series of compression wheels heats and presses the top of the bag closed. Fischbein also offers double roll closers for gusseted or open mouth paper containers that do not come pre-glued. During operation, a double roll closer will fold the top of the package like a standard pinch style closer. However, because these packages come without adhesive, the double roll closer has to apply adhesive to create a closure. Fischbein’s double roll closers use a precisely measured bead of hot adhesive beneath the initial fold and then folds the container a second time to create a sift proof closure.

Fischbein’s Saxon hot air closers are the preferred option for companies looking to handle plastic containers. These systems are compatible with a number of container types, though they are designed for pillow style or flat containers. Saxon’s rotary band closers are the most efficient choice when working with gusseted containers.

What makes Fischbein’s bag sealer machine technology the superior choice?

Fischbein is a leader in the industry and has continually adapted to meet the needs of a changing workforce. Fischbein’s products are respected for their reliability, durability and small footprint, as well as an impressive array of features.

Simple, clear control panels allow an operator to easily set the desired speed and start/stop the device at a second’s notice. Many of Fischbein’s products are automated so this can free up the operator to focus on other things during production. Fischbein’s products are also highly efficient and can lower energy requirements by up to 10 percent, a change that will have a significant financial impact as time passes.

What kind of maintenance do these devices require?

They have few moving parts, so usually only the occasional belt or heating element needs to be switched out following normal wear and tear. A technician certified in handling Fischbein equipment should be the first call whenever a device suffers a failure. Certified professionals know what to look for under the hood of Fischbein equipment and the most effective ways to remediate any problems.
