The PILS 330™ Stainless Steel is the perfect solution for packaging products that require special standards for clean-room environments. The 330 SS is specifically designed for use with pinch-capsac style bags that create a sift-proof, dual closure system incorporating the bag’s inner liner of heat-sealable plastic and an outer multi-wall paper bag with a standard pre-glued pinch style bag flap.
With the PILS 330 Stainless Steel model, the first stage seals and separates the inner plastic bag from the top of the outer paper bag. The second stage reactivates the bag’s pre-applied hot melt adhesive strip and automatically folds over the top of the bag forming the perfect sift-proof bag closure. The result is a bag within a bag, sift proof enclosure, that is ideal for clean room environments.
PILS 330 SS is engineered with a high-speed, maintenance free, direct drive system that maximizes production on semi or fully automated bagging lines and an extended non-stick folder blade that creates bag closures unmatched in reliability. Operating speeds up to 75 feet per minute, the model 330 features high efficiency heaters that reduce energy requirements by 10 percent and deliver the precise amount of heat to the bag top, allowing for faster production with less energy use. The system’s mobile, height adjustable frame and Fischbein’s breakaway feature make maintenance safe and fast. Other innovative features include a safe, user friendly, low voltage control panel, air flow sensor, over-temperature shutdown sensor to prevent overheating and a bag jam sensor. The PILS 330 SS is a valuable addition to any clean room bagging line.
